Quick Guide: Prepping Your Property for a Photo Shoot

Capturing your property in its best light is my top priority. Here’s a quick guide to help you get your property photo-ready for shoot day.

Before the Shoot

  • Declutter: Keep surfaces and rooms tidy. Less is more.
  • Clean: Dust, vacuum, and wipe down all areas. Sparkling spaces look best.
  • Light It Up: Replace any burnt-out bulbs and open those curtains to let natural light flood in.

Key Areas Checklist

  • Living Areas: Arrange furniture neatly, hide remotes and magazines.
  • Kitchen: Minimalist counters work best. Tuck away personal items.
  • Bedrooms: Neat beds and clear nightstands. A minimal decorative touch can add charm.
  • Bathrooms: Clear counters, close toilet lids and ensure mirrors are spotless.
  • Exterior: Mow lawns, tidy gardens and ensure the driveway is clear.

Day of the Shoot

  • Turn all lights on, open curtains and do a final declutter sweep.
